Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is such a contradiction!
This covers all the bases:
It has Vision: The visual is soft, sensual, almost romantic. It caught my attention.
Originality: and then the words are raw, gritty, "ready for new infection".... (I hate to admit I had to break out the dictionary for a word or two). I had to read it a few times, slowly and thoughtfully. I love that!
Technique: The flow of the text perpetuates the differences, running smoothly down the piece, or maybe that is "oozing".
Impact: It is an imaginative, strong piece of art. It grabs the viewer by the soft tones of the orchids (both dead and alive) and holds on to the reader with strong alliterations, "spittle splatters", "juicy juice"...
I love it.
